    Materials :750g beef tendon, hawthorns, salt, ginger, star anises, Chinese prickly ash, slight soy sauce, dark soy sauce, aniseed, myrcia, five species powder and white sugar in appropriate amount 
    1. Cut the beef into big dices, put into water, soak for 2 hours, rinse and get rid of the blood.
    2. Stew the beef for 5 minutes in a boiling saucepot.
    3. Get out the beef, soak into cool water, until the meat gets firm.
    4. Get the spices ready.
    5. Pour enough water into the saucepot. I put the soup stock prepared before and the said spices.
    6. Season with slight soy sauce, dark soy sauce, salt, sugar and five spices powder.
    7. Boil with high heat until fragrant, put in the beef.
    8. After boiled again, put on the pot cover, simmer with low heat.
    9. Simmer for about 1.5 hours, if a pair of chopsticks can be easily put into the beef, close the fire, soak in the pot for 2 hours, then get out; after it is completely cool, cut into slices.
